Coalition MPs will be given a chance to speak openly on gay marriage inside the party room, but Opposition Leader Tony Abbott hasn’t yet said if they will be given a conscience vote.
The ALP national conference on Saturday voted in favour of changing the party’s rules to allow its MPs a conscience vote on gay marriage.
