DAREBIN community leaders and same-sex couples have expressed shock at a survey showing a majority of locals are opposed to gay marriage.
Batman federal Labor MP Martin Ferguson conducted the online survey to gauge opinion from the electorate on the hot political issue, which is set to go to an ALP conscience vote this year.
