Australia’s key right-wing religious lobby groups have booked theGreat Hall of Parliament House in Canberra for a specialNational Marriage Day Rally with the anti-equality message: “Don’t Meddle With Marriage.”
“You are needed in Canberra to counter the powerful secular forces working to destroy marriage,” thunder The Australian Christian Lobby, the National Marriage Coalition, The Australian Family Association and the Dads 4 Kids Fatherhood Foundation.
On Tuesday 16 August, folks opposed to gay marriage are encouraged to dress in the new campaign’s ‘ruby and gold’ colours and join them to make a stand.
“Come in bus loads to support natural marriage and warn all politicians – Don’t meddle with marriage,” says the event’s website.
