PEOPLE in search of marriage equality will spend Valentine’s Day spreading the love to federal MPs across Australia, delivering roses to 50 parliamentarians in marginal seats with a simple message: “We’re waiting.”
The campaign will put a face to the millions of Australians waiting for reform.
All targeted parliamentarians will have received a rose from people who are waiting to get married, whether they be gay or straight.
Australian Marriage Equality national director Rodney Croome said only 25 MPs were needed for reforms to pass through parliament.
