20 issues in 20 days continued today with a focus on marriage equality.
In the first leaders debate Prime Minister Kevin Rudd announced that he would introduce a marriage-equality bill within 100 days if Labor were re-elected.
The party followed this with a social media campaign on gay marriage, called “It’s time”.
The Federal Opposition Leader Tony Abbott said it was “an important issue” but would not commit to a conscience vote.
