Hundreds marched in Sydney’s streets as a loud and proud stand for marriage equality.
The rally began at Sydney’s Town Hall and then continued in a march to Taylor Square, where LGBTI activists chalked a rainbow crossing. A painted rainbow crossing that had been there for Mardi Gras 2013 had been recently removed by the local council. Speakers at the rally include: Cat Rose, Karl Hand, April Holcombe, Irene Doutney.
Sydney’s iconic Rainbow Crossing returned to Taylor Square during the marriage equality march as dozens of Sydneysiders got their chalks out!
