LEGISLATIVE Councillors were yesterday urged at a rally in Launceston to rethink their stance on the same-sex marriage Bill, which was narrowly defeated in the Upper House last month.

About 80 marriage equality advocates rallied outside the offices of MLCs Ivan Dean and Rosemary Armitage, who recently voted against legalising same-sex marriage.
