Although the Lower House voted down the same-sex marriage bill today, Rodney Croome says we are getting closer to achieving marriage equality in Australia.
The House of Representatives has voted down marriage equality legislation 98 to 42 and the Senate is expected to vote against the reform tomorrow night by a narrower margin.
