Bernardi quits over gay-bestiality link

SENATOR Cory Bernardi has resigned as shadow parliamentary secretary after he compared gays marriage with bestiality.

Liberal Party leader Tony Abbott confirmed Mr Bernardi’s resignation shortly after midday.
