Don’t get angry, get equal: Defend Queensland’s equal surrogacy laws
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) in Brisbane has launched a new webform that makes it easy for you to send a letter to Queensland Premier, Campbell Newman, supporting equality.
Having de-funded the Queensland Association for Healthy Communities and watered-down the Civil Union Act, the Queensland Government is now proposing to remove the existing right of same-sex couples to enter legally-recognised surrogacy arrangements. This is despite a pre-election promise from Premier Campbell Newman, that equality in surrogacy would remain.
