DAVID MARK: The Church of England has vowed to fight the British government’s bid to make gay marriage legal, describing it as ill-thought-out and risking a massive split between church and state.
But there are also divisions within the church. Some senior church leaders reject the public stance, saying they’re angry at the lack of consultation.
