Queensland’s new government has sought legal advice about repealing same-sex civil unions.
Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie has requested a full legal brief from his department about the legislation, The Australian reports.
Mr Bleijie told the paper all aspects of the law were ‘‘open for discussion’’.
The legal advice would present options for possible changes, including a full repeal of the law or a partial repeal.
