QUEENSLAND’S first civil partnerships will be celebrated next month, and while it’s not marriage, Deputy Premier Andrew Fraser says it’s the next best thing for couples.
Mr Fraser has announced that the governor has approved the state’s Civil Partnership Act to start from February 23.
