Gay rights groups have said that former tennis champion Margaret Court’s comments about homosexuality might put young people at risk of bullying and suicide.
“As a public figure she has to consider the impact her words have, particularly given she is such a sporting legend,” Gay and Lesbian Equality WA convener Kitty Hawkins said yesterday.
