SAME-SEX marriage supporters will have to wait until legislation is introduced to parliament to see if it wins the support of Bennelong Federal Liberal MP John Alexander.
The recent Labor Party conference resolution to change its platform and support same-sex marriage will be followed by a Private Member’s Bill to be introduced by the left-wing ALP member Stephen Jones early next year.
