Same-sex marriage campaigners face an uphill battle in Canterbury-Bankstown as two local MPs this week voiced their steadfast opposition to any change in the law.

In a short statement to The Express Watson Federal Labor MP Tony Burke said in the event of an ALP conscience vote he would be voting to keep the law “as it is”.
