EASTERN suburbs politicians from both major parties have voiced support for a conscience vote on same-sex marriage.
Wentworth Liberal MP Malcolm Turnbull said he supports a free vote on gay marriage, telling the ABC yesterday he had raised the matter privately with Opposition Leader Tony Abbott.
