Queensland looks set to legalise same-sex civil unions, with Premier Anna Bligh believing most of her team will vote in support.
The Civil Partnerships Bill will be introduced into parliament on Tuesday night by Deputy Premier Andrew Fraser and will go as far as the state can go to acknowledge the relationship rights of gay and lesbian couples.
