The fight for marriage equality is not an easy one, with most of the country actually not too concerned if a same-sex couple can marry.
It’s a handful at the top that is either too scared or too concerned that the decision will affect them politically. Surely a politician is supposed to be the voice of the people. Australia’s voice has been quite clear for some time — maybe we should buy politicians some cotton buds, so they can clean out their ears.
I was talking about marriage equality with my grandfather, who raised the subject with me.
