About 50 people gathered outside Adelaide’s Bonython Hall at Adelaide University holding placards and chanting slogans in support of gay marriage.
Spokesman Sean Brocklehurst said in speaking in memory of a premier who de-criminalised homosexuality in South Australia, it was an act of hypocrisy that the Labor government had done nothing to promote equality in marriage.
