Three-quarters of voters believe the ACT should have the power to pass laws without the threat of a federal ministerial veto, a poll reveals.
More than 1000 people were asked if the ACT and Northern Territory should have the same rights as the states to pass legislation without being overruled by a federal minister.
And 74 per cent of respondents agreed, according to the Essential Poll issued yesterday.
