Australian Marriage Equality, in partnership with GetUp, is holding a rally in the National Capital this weekend following similar rallies in Sydney and Melbourne.

What: Marriage Equality Rally in Canberra
Where: Garema Square
When: 12pm Sunday, 21 June 2015

The rallies demonstrate the strength of support for marriage equality across the nation and call on the Coalition to allow its members a free vote.

Ivan Hinton-Teoh, Australian Marriage Equality
Sally Rugg, Get Up!
Yvette Berry, ACT Labor
Shane Rattenbury, ACT Greens
Ebony Holland & Ben Grady, a couple who don’t want to marry until their friends can.
Sam & Hayley Wilson, a couple who married in Canberra in 2013 
Angie Shillington & Ally Howe, Canberra school students who have launched the “Walk For Equality” event to be held in July.

Over 4,000 have currently RSVP’d to this event.
