It’s almost here!

On Sunday, 9th November, Camperdown Memorial Rest Park will be transformed into a boisterous celebration of our self-declared Newtown Republic.

There will be a mild-boggling range of music, food, entertainment and activities – head over to the program to check it out, or download it here.

The brand-new Newtown Festival Week kicks off of Sunday, 2nd November. Make sure you have a look at some of the amazing gigs and specials happening in the neighbourhood here.

Don’t forget…

Give generously. Newtown Festival is organised by Newtown Neighbourhood Centre as its major fundraiser, and entry is by note or gold coin donation.

No entry after 5pm! We have a strict lockout.

No BYO and no glass.

Bring a water bottle! There will be no bottled water sales on site, to make a stand against the waste and commodification of bottled water. Free refill water stations will be spread around the park on Sunday, courtesy Sydney Water.

Wear sunscreen, stay safe, and have a fantastic day!

Parking is extremely limited, so we recommend travelling by public transport, walking or riding your bike (with free valet bike parking!). You can find more transport information here.

And last but not least, get your dancing shoes ready, and we’ll see you at the park!
