SENIOR federal Liberal Joe Hockey has called for a sensitive and measured parliamentary debate on same-sex marriage.
Mr Hockey was responding to the comments of colleague Cory Bernardi who suggested legalising gay marriage would lead to demands for bestiality to also be sanctioned.
