Hot on the heels of Tasmania’s same-sex marriage bill overcoming its first hurdle, The ACT Labor Government has announced that they will also join their Tasmanian and South Australian counterparts by introducing similar legislation should they be re-elected in the territory election held next month.
The announcement was made at an LGBT community forum by Deputy Chief Minister Andrew Barr on Friday evening.
