A HIGHLY charged exchange between Shadow Treasurer Joe Hockey and Finance Minister Penny Wong on the ABC’s Q & A program on Mondaybrought the issue of gay marriage to the fore again.
On the program, the North Sydney Federal MP reiterated his position as remaining opposed to gay marriage. “I think in this life we’ve got to aspire to give our children the very best circumstances and that is a mother and a father,” Mr Hockey said.
