COALITION gay rights campaigner Warren Entsch will vote against a pair of upcoming gay marriage bills, but is preparing his own civil unions bill.
Labor MP Stephen Jones will introduce gay marriage legislation today and independent MP Andrew Wilkie and the Greens’ Adam Bandt will table similar legislation.
Mr Entsch told The Australian Online he expected both bills to fail despite Tony Abbott’s acceptance his backbenchers may exercise a conscience vote.
