Queensland’s same-sex civil unions laws are in jeopardy, with an independent MP pushing to have them repealed even if some ceremonies occur before the state election.
Independent Queensland MP Rob Messenger on Tuesday announced a plan to introduce a private member’s bill after the election. His bill would repeal the same-sex civil union legislation that recently passed through state parliament.
