NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell has added to growing pressure on federal opposition leader Tony Abbott to allow a conscience vote on gay marriage.
Mr O’Farrell said if it were an issue for the state parliament, he would give Liberal MPs the freedom to vote as they liked.
