NSW: The Gosford-based St Mary’s Anglican Church on NSW’s Central Coast has come out to declare its backing of same-sex marriage with a street sign proclaiming the parish to be “supporting marriage equity”.
The message was placed on the church’s sign board by parish rector, Father Rod Bower last Wednesday in what is thought to be the first public display of support for marriage equality by any NSW Central Coast church.
