CHAMPION axeman David Foster made an unusual ally in the Tasmanian Greens last night as he continued his campaign for same-sex marriage.

Speaking with Greens Leader Nick McKim at a public forum in Hobart on marriage equality, Foster said he normally kept his distance from the Greens.

“I don’t agree with the Greens on everything they do, because I fall trees and they don’t want me to fall trees,” Foster said.
