WEB developer Jessica can’t wait for the day she can marry her partner – but she can’t start planning any time soon.
The Ashcroft resident, who has been in a relationship with her partner Lauren for one-and-a-half years, said she was disappointed 90 per cent of voters in the Fowler electorate do not believe the federal government should legislate to recognise same-sex marriage.
“I find it really upsetting because none of the people fighting against marriage equality are affected by it, but it affects couples like us greatly,” she said.
