Same-sex marriage activists vow they will still rally outsideSydney’s Town Hall next weekend, despite the police and the owners of the land – the Anglican Diocese of Sydney – telling them they cannot go ahead in their traditional spot.

The Community Action Against Homophobia crew have held popular, colourful and rowdy – yet peaceful – marches outside the Town Hall on George Street several times in the past two years. Their next event there on Saturday 21 May was planned to coincide with International Day Against Homophobia.
