Things are stirring again in the ACT. With the news this week that Julia Gillard may pass laws clearing the way for the ACT to legislate as it wishes, the LGBTI community in the ACT must decide what it wants.
While a watered-down Civil Partnerships Act exists, allowing same-sex couples to have some form of ceremony, this was always a compromise to satisfy the control-freak tendencies of former PM Kevin Rudd.
