Greens MLC Tammy Franks’ private members bill for same sex marriage was again debated in state parliament with the Liberals now coming out in objection to a conscience vote.
Ms Franks said the Opposition were trying to find an easy way out to avoid debating the issue altogether.
“The State Liberals have made an attempt to side-step the issue of same sex marriage without disclosing how each member would vote on the issue,” Ms Franks said.
